School counselors play an instrumental role in helping students choose the university that’s right for them. The following resources can help you and your students learn more about Rutgers University.
The Counselors' Information Center (CIC) gives you access to information about your students’ applications including education history, required items, and application status for all Rutgers schools they have applied to (each year by the second week in October). The CIC also allows you to manage your counselor profile and update contact information for your school. This restricted site requires a Rutgers CommunityID for login authentication purposes.

All current high school seniors (U.S. and international) are required to report their courses, grades, grade-point averages, and other academic information via the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). When students submit an SRAR, they do not need to provide interim transcripts prior to graduation.
SAT and ACT test scores are not required to be considered for admission to Rutgers University.
If a student elects to submit SAT or ACT scores, all scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to Rutgers. Rutgers University school codes:
