Spring/January 2025: Application Dates & Deadlines

For more information, please see the credentials required of first-year applicants or the credentials required of transfer applicants. Your Rutgers Application Portal displays updates after required credentials are received.

+These are not deadlines. You may apply after due dates have passed. However, if you apply after the due dates or if your file remains incomplete after due dates for credentials submission have passed, you will be withdrawn from admissions consideration if your school(s) of application meet enrollment goals before the Office of Admissions reviews your application.

*By January 10th or within one week of notification of your admissions decision, please acknowledge your admission and tell us whether or not you will enroll through your Application Portal .

**Admissions decisions will be posted online via your Rutgers Application Portal screen no later than this date.

‡U.S. Citizens and Non-F-1 Visa Holders include: U.S. citizens; permanent residents with an Alien Registration Receipt Card (green card, I-551,I-551C); Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) grantees; I-94 holders with refugee, parole, or asylum status granted; those who have applied for and are awaiting approval regarding permanent resident (green card) status; or those that hold any visa type other than F-1. International students planning to study in the U.S. on an F-1 (student) visa should refer to the "International F-1 Visa Holders" column on the school availability chart.
