Gift Aid

Gift aid can come in the form of scholarships, awards, or grants and be given out by Rutgers, the federal government, the state government, non-profits, or private organizations.

Work-Study Program

The Federal Work-Study program allows students to earn money for college expenses while gaining valuable skills. Work-study jobs are part-time and available on and off-campus.

Loans

Loans must be repaid, usually with some amount of interest added. They can come from federal, state, and university sources as well as private lenders. Our other financial aid options might help you lessen the amount of student loans you’ll have to borrow.
