Rutgers University–Camden is committed to making your education affordable and accessible. Students experiencing financial hardship for any reason can follow these steps:

- Borrow your Federal Direct Loans for this academic year.
- Review your Financial Aid status.
Begin the Financial Aid Process
The Rutgers FAFSA federal school code is 002629.
To become eligible for financial aid, the first step is to apply by filling out the FAFSA. Candidates who file the FAFSA will be considered for all funds for which they are eligible. After Rutgers priority filing dates, funds will be awarded on an as-availailable basis.
Please note that international students (F-1 or J-1 visa holders) are not eligible by law for need-based financial aid.
